Former Georgia Tech defensive back Jemea Thomas will participate in on-field drills Tuesday at the NFL draft combine with the rest of the defensive backs. While in Indianapolis, players also go through medical examinations, interviews with teams and psychological testing. The process takes four days. The defensive backs checked in Saturday.
They’ll test in the bench press Monday, measuring reps of 225 pounds, before being assessed in drills such as the 40-yard dash, vertical jump and skill drills. The combine is being broadcast on the NFL Network and streamed on nfl.com.
Former Tech defensive end Jeremiah Attaochu attended the combine but did not participate in the on-field drills due to a hamstring injury. He met with reporters Saturday, including AJC Falcons writer D. Orlando Ledbetter. Video here.
