Tech pro day to air on ESPN3

By Ken Sugiura

In a first, Georgia Tech’s pro day will be carried live online on ESPN3. The audition of the Yellow Jackets’ NFL hopes before NFL scouts and coaches will take place at the Brock Indoor Practice Facility March 28 at 10:30 a.m.

The list of former Tech players includes 13 seniors from this past season – Jeremiah Attaochu, Ray Beno, Euclid Cummings, Emmanuel Dieke, Jay Finch, Robert Godhigh, Will Jackson, Sean Poole, David Scully, David Sims, Jemea Thomas, Brandon Watts and Louis Young as well as Omoregie Uzzi, who went undrafted and unsigned last year but has continued working out in hopes of signing on with a team.

It will be Attaochu’s first time being tested, as a partially torn hamstring suffered at the Senior Bowl kept him from participating at the NFL draft combine in February. Attaochu, who could be chosen as early as the second round, will likely draw a sizeable crowd of coaches and scouts.

Tech voice Brandon Gaudin and former Tech A-back Roddy Jones will provide commentary as players will participate in the 20- and 60-yard shuttles, the 40-yard dash and other drills. Tech also broadcast its signing day on ESPN3 for the first time in February.

Do any other schools broadcast signing day and pro-day like  Tech does?
