VIDEO: 3 questions heading into season opener

By Ken Sugiura

My interview with CineSport’s Noah Coslove. We talk about Georgia Tech’s up-tempo offense, two players who have to come through for the Yellow Jackets and the always fun “How many wins?” question.

I'm predicting Justin Thomas both rushes and passes for over 1000 yds and Zach Laskey, the most underrated FB/RB/BB in the nation has close to 1500 yds, while Smelter gets over 1000 all purpose yds. Go Jackets, cant wait till saturday.

If coach Johnson was beating UGA nobody would care what type of offense he was running. If he wants the job that something he going to have to do.

Coach Paul Johnson will be the GT Head Football Coach for many many years; I am a true fan and solid GT supporter............I say IF you don't like Coach PJ then find a different team to follow!

If you are a GT fan..........support he team & the coaching staff during the good times and the rough spots!!!!!!

Coach PJ has a significant number of positive attributes, he represents the institution in a very positive fashion & he (including his Triple Option Offense) is a great fit at GT.

Sorry, six max, unless Gotsis gets hurt early, then it would decrease from there.  Beyond the first three, who do we have a realistic shot at - Duke, UVA, Pitt, NC State.  We have a bad habit of snatching defeat from the jaws of victory once or twice a year.

Here's a better question - which quarterback can transition back to a regular offense the best in 2015?

Good interview Ken! I heard quite a range there, anywhere from 6 to 10 W's you said. If only 6, as BJ said, maybe move on in 2015. 7 makes it a tougher call. 8 is great for CPJ. I'm going be optimistic and say a bowl win gets us 8 and a little momentum going into 2015.

nice job, I'm going with:

O Beakout player: Chris Griffin

D Beakout player: Keshun Freeman (We agree)

Wins:  10

@gatechclassof95 Dont present facts. That will upset the pj apologists.

Funny how bad pj is against the big 4, yet some still support him. Must be on his payroll.

Now gt has a much tougher duke and unc to deal with. And we all saw the blowout loss to that powerhouse middle tennessee. Could tulane or ga southern do the same?

@leefrommeeks

Darn right!  We could go 1-10 every year as long as we beat UGA, as far as I'm concerned.

Winning the ACC is of little significance to me.

@SupersizeThatOrder-mutt  I'd expand this to 5 wins min and 10 max, 11 counting our bowl game.  I'd take the over at 6.5 with 7 being most likely, but I think we'll actually get 8 wins too. Clemson, UM, and UGA with one stupid loss thrown in.  Should the Lord above find favor with the white and gold, then maybe we'll take a couple of those games and eliminate the stupid loss.

Do you seriously think we will lose to UVA or NCST? If so you obviously know nothing about college football.....

Bham how about if we win more than 6, YOU move on?

Love how the comment was deleted, too.

Let's not criticize the highest paid employee at Georgia Tech, who makes almost $ 3mil/yr.

@POAD2014

Is that right?  WOW, I hadn't even thought about that, but now that I re-read his posts, I think you're right.  So once again he has stolen and twisted another blogger's name.  SHEESH, how much lower can the jerk stoop?
