Former Georgia Tech linebacker Quayshawn Nealy and wide receiver Darren Waller have accepted invitations to play in the East-West Shrine Game, a pre-draft showcase in St. Petersburg, Fla.

The game will be January 17, but will be preceded by a week of practices in front of NFL scouts and executives.

Their selection to the game is a strong indicator that both will receive a chance to play in the NFL. Out of last year’s 55-player East team roster, 22 were drafted, 28 signed undrafted free-agent contracts and two were given tryouts in NFL camps.

The game will be broadcast Jan. 17 at 4 p.m. on the NFL Network.
