Notes on Vanderbilt’s depth chart for Georgia Tech game

Georgia Tech (2-0, 1-0 ACC) will host Vanderbilt (1-1, 0-1 SEC) 12 12:30 p.m. at Bobby Dodd Stadium.

Here are a few notes about the Commodores depth chart.

Sherfield led the team in catches with 51 last season. He is tied for the lead with Webb this season….with four catches.

Shurmur played in five games last season. He has completed 23-of-50 passes for 186 yards this season.

The line is paving the way for the Commodores to average 200 rushing yards per game.

Webb is fourth all-time in career rushing at the school. He needs 777 yards to break Zac Stacy’s school record. His 211 rushing yards in last week’s win over Middle Tennessee was the third-most in a single game. … Rushed for 1,152 yards last season.
